Dairy Free Coconut Whipped Cream

Ingredients
  • 1 Can of full fat coconut milk, refrigerated overnight
  • Optional:
  • Cinnamon
  • Maple Syrup
Instructions
  1. Make sure to refrigerate coconut milk overnight
  2. Open coconut milk and scrape the cream off the top. Do not dump the liquid as you will need this later in the recipe
  3. Place the cream in your kitchen aid and whip it, adding a little of the liquid from the can to reach desired consistency. I typically use 1-2 Tbsp of the liquid depending on how hard the coconut cream is
  4. Add in cinnamon and maple syrup to taste, if desired.
Notes
**I typically make this without the maple syrup. Most of the time you are putting this whipped cream on something that is sweet and so it isn't needed. I find that the version with the maple syrup is too sweet for me.
